Who Suffers from a War?

War is an event when two or more parties conflict which results in many casualties, damage and suffering. Many parties suffered losses in the war. The following are the parties who suffered losses from the war.

Civilians

Civilians are the group that suffers the most in a war. They can experience physical losses, such as injury or death, as well as material losses such as loss of housing, employment, and access to basic needs such as clean water, food, health and even clean air.

The younger generation of civilians also experienced the negative effects of war. They will experience trauma, be forced to join the war, lose their education and much more

World Economy

The world economy will be greatly affected by war. If a country is in war status, that country will limit its economic activities, including exports and imports. Other countries that have trade relations with them will lose trading partners. Also, trade routes will be disrupted, which could result in supply shortages.

Environment

War can have serious impacts on the environment. For example, using bombs can damage land, water and air. Damage to infrastructure such as dams, fuel warehouses and others can also affect the environment. Environmental pollution can threaten human health and natural sustainability.

War often results in more losses than benefits and brings untold suffering to many people. So, looking for other, more humane ways to resolve conflicts would be better.
