What is the Function of the State?
A state is a community with territory, administrators, symbols and sovereignty. The state has the main function of improving the welfare of its people. Apart from that, the state also has other functions, the following are their functions.
1. Protect and ensure the security of the residents there from internal and external threats;
2. Organizing bureaucracy, public services and enforcing state law;
3. Organize, formulate policies and regulate economic activities to encourage economic growth and prosperity;
4. Establishing relations and cooperation with other countries and voicing the country's interests in international forums;
5. Enforcing, creating a justice system and providing legal protection to its citizens.
The state functions mentioned above are generally carried out by the state. However, the functions of different states differ in each country and always develop according to the development of society and the country's needs.
